My personal everyday hero to fight off pimples is Zinc ointment.
Everyone knows them and everyone gets them: PIMPLES. Some people have more pimples than others, but everyone finds them annoying. They usually come at the worst time, either right before a date or an interview.
A couple of months ago, I read a blog entry on the subject and just had to try this trick. Since then, I have recommended the miracle ointment to several people and have only received positive feedback. This time I would like to recommend this miracle healer against pimples, blackheads and acne to you.
Zinc ointment is very inexpensive and can be found at any pharmacy or drugstore.
And what’s so great about this product is that you don’t have to smear a big amount onto your whole face, but instead only on the pimple itself. Even the trial size from the drugstore can last for months.
My personal tip is to apply the ointment on the pimple before going to sleep and leave it on overnight. The next morning my face feels almost like new, and the zinc ointment has dried up and can then be washed off with lukewarm water.
In order to prevent bacteria formation, the zinc ointment should be applied to clean skin with a cotton swab. Lukewarm water or alcohol-free cleaning lotions are usually enough.
The main component of zinc ointment is zinc oxide, which is not only antiseptic, but also has wound healing, adsorptive and astringent effects.
If the zinc oxide should encounter wound or healing secretions, then zinc salts are formed. These have the proven antiseptic and astringent effects that promote the healing process, fight pimples, and pull the inflammation out of the blocked sebum and hair follicle.
This product helps to dry out pimples, but just as well helps sore skin, cuts, and burns, thus promoting the healing process. Zinc ointment is not only suitable for areas on the face, but all over the body. A real all-rounder.
