Summer is a great time for new trends to breakthrough. However, not all of them are fit to continue over with the fall trends. Fall trends roll in quickly and with force. Most of them are long-lasting as well, as they are easily transferable into winter trends. With that, here is my list of summer trends we should ditch for the fall.
One-shoulder crop tops
Although super cute, one-shoulder tops just aren’t very practical when it comes to the fall time. Personally, I think it’s gonna be rather hard to stay warm with one shoulder exposed. Something about the top just screams summer to me, and I can’t really see it making its way into the fall wardrobe, but maybe that’s just me.
This one I am ready to leave the summer for one reason, and one reason only. How am I to fit puff sleeves into jackets? I love them as much as the next person, but for this practicality detail, I’ll be leaving my puff sleeves to the summertime.
Yes, I am aware that biker shorts have been trending for quite some time now, and are not exclusive to the summer. Nonetheless, I will not be carrying these with me into my fall wardrobe. My reasoning? Frankly, I think this trend was great for the casual nature of summer. Now, I’m in the mood to dress to impress for fall, and I don’t think I can do that in biker shorts.
This is a trend that I absolutely love watching be put together for the summer. Unfortunately, that’s exactly why I think it won’t be joining us in the fall. It absolutely radiates summer, and I’m having a hard time finding a way to make it fit in the fall. With that being said, if you can find a way to make it work, even more props to you!
There you have it! The list of summer trends we should ditch for the fall. Please keep in mind this is all just my opinion, and I am no fashion expert. I hope you enjoyed reading this article, and are just as excited as I am to see all of the upcoming fall trends!
